A few months ago, Murray underwent serious open heart surgery. Unfortunately, all did not go completely smoothly. ButMurray's indominatable spirit helped to pull him through some very tough times. He made use of his love of Mathematics, and throughout this very trying time, he continued to solve problems, pose problems, and make shrewd comments on other people's proposals and solutions. The Editors of Crux Mathematicorum with Mathematical Mayhem wish Murray a continued good recovery, and look forward to his continuing valuable contributions.
